The Dog House Australia star Tayla Meath has passed away at 30 following a long battle with cancer.

Meath, a beloved TV personality and animal matchmaker on the Network 10 reality series, was diagnosed in 2024 with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC)—an aggressive form of cancer that targets glandular tissues. Following a "long and incredibly difficult" health journey, her passing prompted a wave of tributes across the Australian entertainment and animal rescue communities.

In a public statement shared on The Dog House Australia Facebook Page, the program expressed deep sadness over losing a core member of their family

According to reports by TV Tonight, Meath was incredibly proud of her role as an on-screen matchmaker, using the platform to give abandoned dogs the second chance they deserved.

Her family also extended their gratitude to viewers, sharing how meaningful it was to see her bring light and a warm smile to TV screens each week. Her loved ones and former colleagues are now celebrating her life, remembering her enduring dedication to animal welfare.
